After Wednesday night Presidential debate, polls are rising for Governor Mitt Romney in key swing states. ( Click on poll company name to source) Today Rasmussen posted a poll that shows 43% of Americans are certain to vote for Governor Mitt. 41% of Americans are certain to vote for Barack Obama. This shows that many Americans are still undecided and like I said before I believe this election will be decided at the debates. This is the actually report that Rasmussen posted: "The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows President Obama attracting support from 47% of voters nationwide, while Mitt Romney earns the vote from 46%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided. See daily tracking history. When “leaners” are included, the candidates are tied at 48%. Leaners are those who are initially uncommitted to the two leading candidates but lean towards one of them when asked a follow-up question. Beginning October 1, Rasmussen Reports will be basing its daily updates solely upon the results including leaners. Currently, 43% of voters nationwide are certain they will vote for Romney, and 41% are just as certain about voting for Obama. Three percent (3%) are likely to vote for Romney but could change their minds. Six percent (6%) say they expect to vote for Obama but could change their minds. Platinum Members can see demographic breakdowns, voter intensity and additional information from the tracking poll on a daily basis. " In the state of Colorado which has 9 electoral votes Mitt Romney has increased a bit in the latest RCP election average. The RCP average gives Barack Obama 47.3% and Mitt Romney 46.0%. If you look on the graph below taken from RCP, Governor Romney is increasing and Barack Obama is falling in this poll average. Four years ago Barack Obama won this state by a nice margin. Four years later Barack Obama is having trouble defending this state. I do believe Colorado will switch to the republicans this election.
In the State of North Carolina Governor Mitt Romney Increases his lead. Rasmussen released a poll today that shows Romney is still leading in North Carolina. The poll gives Mitt Romney 51% and gives Barack Obama 45%. Real Clear Politics which takes the average of all the polls also shows Mitt Romney increasing his lead in North Carolina. Barack Obama won this state 4 years ago. A new 2012 Presidential Election national poll released today by Rassmussen shows Governor Mitt Romney is increasing his lead over Barack Obama. Today's polls showed Mitt Romney with 48% and Barack Obama with 45%. I believe this is another example to show that Obama post-convention poll bounce has come to an end.
A new 2012 Presidential Election national poll released today by Rassmussen shows Obama's little convention bump is over. Today the poll shows Obama with 46% and Romney with45%. If you look at the chart below Obama has taken a dive in the polls. The RCP 2012 Presidential national poll shows Barack Obama and Mitt Romney tied in the most recent update. For the Romney/Ryan campaign I would say this is very good news. If you look at the chart below it shows that Romney has been increasing in poll numbers over the last few days. Any incumbent President should not be below 50% in polls and should most certainly not be tying his opponent in polls. It seems like Romney has some momentum behind him now from the Republican National Convention. |
